Introductlon
ThlS report trdnsmlts the attached ordlnance
for lntroductlon for second readlng and adoptlon.
Background
The Clty Councll lntroduced the attached ordlnance
and held a publlC hearlng thereon at lts meetlng of March 14,
1978.
In conformlty wlth the dlrectlOn of the Clty Councll
at sald ~eetlng, the attached ordlnance has been modlfled
~
to ellffilnate the provlslon prohlbltlng refuse collectlon
wlthln a radlus of flve hundred feet from any resldentlal
dwelllng. The attached ordlnance malntalns the prohlbltion
agalnst refuse collection In the M-l dud M-2 zone wlthin
a radlus of flve hundred feet from any bUlldlng located ln
any other zone. Caples of the preVlous staff reports are
