Backqround
The County of Los Angeles appropriates a portion of Gas Tax funds

classified as arterials.
The total amount of funds currently
available to the city is $553,355.
In order to recelve these
funds from the County, the Council must formally request these
funds by resolution.
The ATe funds must be used to resurface City arterial streets such
as 17th street from Colorado to California, Ocean Park Boulevard
from 25th street to 31st Street and 11th Street from pico to Ocean
Park Boulevard. These streets were determined to be most in need
