Take-Off and Landlng Operat~ons at the
Santa Monlca MUDlclpa1 Airport
Introductlon
ThlS report transm2ts the attached ord2nance for
second readlng and adoptlon. The ordlnance prohlblts take-
offs or englne start-ups between 11:00 o'clock p.m. and
6:00 o'clock a.m. Monday through Fr1day and 11:00 o'clock
p.m. and 7:00 o'clock a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Background
The attached ordlnance was ~ntroduced and a publlC
hearlng was held thereon by the Clty CaUDcll at lts meeting
of November 22, 1977. Other than as set forth above, the
attached ordlnance does provlde for take-offs or landings
durlng otherw~se prohLbLted hours when an emergency eXLsts.
