II of the Santa Monlca Municipal Code, pursuant to Council.direction i on October 24, 1978. The public hearing was opened at 8:20 P.M. by order: of Nayor Pro Tempore Cohen. There being no one present desiring to addres~ the Council, the publlc hearing was closed at 8:21 P.M. by order of Mayor Pro Tempore Cohen. Councl1member Trives moved that the Council take no action in regard to an ordlnance for introduction dissolving the Youth Advlsory Council by repeal of Chapter 10 of Article II of the Santa \lonlca ~runicipal Code. Second by Councllmember van den Steenhoven. The motion failed by the following vote: Councll Vote: Afflrmative: Councllmembers Trlves, van den Steenhoven Negative: Councllmembers Bambrick, Reed, Scott, and Nayor Pro Tempore Cohen Abs ent: May 0 r S\vink Councilmember Reed moved to introduce an ordinance enti tIed: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA REPEALING SECTIONS 2910 - 2913 OF THE SANTA MONICA CODE CREATING A YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL", reading by tl. tIe only and waiving further reading thereof. Second by Councilmember Bambrick.
