Th~s report transmlts a flnal parcel map for Clty Counell
approval.

Background
At ltS meetlng of June 28, 1983, the Clty Counel1 approved Or-
dlnance 1281, a Development Agreement between the C~ty of Santa
Monlca and Roman Propertles. Per Paragraph 14 of the Develo.t?li.ent
Agreement, the City agreed lito approve a parcel map or subdJV1-
Slon map for the Property, . . . to div~de the Property lnto varlOUS
parcels as determined by ProJect Owner. " On January 9, 1984, the
Planning CornmlSSlon contlnued aetlon on the tentative map to
the1r January 30 meetlng, statlng that the January 9 meeting was
reserved for a public hearlng on the draft Land Use Element.
Following this contlnuance, the Clty Attorney deemed the tenta-
tlve map automatically approved, based on a fa11ure of the Plan-
n1ng CommlSSlon to act on the tentatlve map wlthin the tlme

lim~ts spec~f~ed by State law. The developer agreed to comply
with all staff cond~tlons attached to the tentat~ve map.
The flnal map has been approved by the County Englneer's office
and certlfled by the City Eng~neer for conformance with the ten-
tat~ve parcel map and condltlons thereon, the Subdlvlslon Map
Act, and local ordlnances. The CJ.ty Attorney's offJ.ce has ap-
proved a Reclprocal Easement agreement WhlCh specifies restrlc-
tlve covenants, easements and maintenance responsJ.bilJ.t~es for
each parcel.
Recommendatlon
It is respectfully recommended that the flnal map be approved by
the adopt~on of the accompanYlng resolut~on.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
. ACCEPTING AND APPROVING SUBDIVISION
MAP OF TRACT NO. 15795.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Map of Tract No. 15795 ln the
City of Santa Monica be and the same hereby accepted
and approved.
SECTION 2. That the Clty Clerk hereby 15 au-
thor1zed and dlrected to endorse upon the face of sald
Map this order authenticated by the Seal of the City of
Santa Monlca.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certlfy to
the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and
thereafter the same shall be In full force and effect.
