With the exception of the Strand and Norman Place Lots, all six of the subject lots have demand sufflclently heavy to warrant the recommended increases. Lot 8. located In the 1100 block of 16th St., whlle unmetered does fall into the geographical area of Lots 7 and 12, and the same monthly permit rate should apply; i.e., $20 recommended in lleu of tre present $12. ReCOffi'llenda t 10 n Staff recommends that the Clty Councll/Park1ng Author1ty adopt the following: 1. Increase the hourly parklng neter rate to a unlform 20t per hour on all metered off-street parklng lots in the City. ~ ~ Council and Parklng Authorlty -3- December 18, 1978 2. Increase the monthly permlt parklng rate on Parking Authority Lots 7, 8, 12, and 22 from 512 to $20 per space per month. 3. Instruct the Clty Attorney to prepare the necessary ordlnances implementing Recowmendatlons No, 1 and 2. 4. Appropriate 526,000 from unencumbered parklng meter funds to effect the necessary parking meter rate changes. Prepared by: S. E. Scholl E. D. McAteer J. J. Wrenn JJW gw , .:J- e e RESOLUTION NO.
