ThlS report transmlts a proposed ordlnance for lntro-
ductlon WhlCh would change the hours of prohlblted parKlng ln
yellow loadlng zones and requlre fees for lnstalling loadlng
and ll~lted parklng zones. ThlS was requested by Counc~l as
Item 6{S) at lts Aprll 22, 1980 roeetlng.

Parking 15 presentlv prohlblted lD a yellow loadi~g
zones on a 24 hour basls. Usually, dellverles are nade be-
tween 7:~Q A.M. and 6:00 P.~~. on ~eekdays wlth sore occaslonal
use On Saturdays. mherefore, the load1ng zanes are not In
use on weekdavs between 6;00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. and could be
used for normal on-street parklng durlng those hours. The
proposed ordlnance would amend Sectlon 3365 of Chapter 3 of
Artl.cle III to reduce the prOnl.b1t]_On of parklng l.n load~ns
