BACKGROU~m
ThlS ordlnance was lntroduced bv Council as Ite~ 8C at
lts December 10, 1980 meet1ng, contl!lUed from lts ~eceI'1ber 9, 1980
meet1ng.
The proposed ordlnane~ ~ncr~ases ratp5 ln Zone C ln two
different ways. It amends Sectlon 3393C to change the meter rate
from $. f)5 an hour to ~ .10 an hour wlthln Parklnq !1eter Zone C. It
also re~oves a s~all area (Ocean Park Boulevard between 25th Strept
and Centlnela Avenu~ and all streets lntersectlng Ocean Park
Bovlevard from t~at lntersectloh to a pOlnt 300 feet north). Th~s
1.ncreases Plpt_er ratps \nt['~n t~at ari"a froITl S.05 an hour (Zone C)
to $.75 an hour (Zone D).
