SectIon 3393A of the Santa MonIca MunicIpal Code IS amended to read as follows: SECTION 3393A. pat=k_~~qy!e_t:-er Zone "All . ( a ) 'Th e followIng named and descrIbed streets or portIons of streets wIthIn the City shall constItute Zone "A" namely: (1) All of Ocean Avenue and all streets southwesterly thereof, IncludIng the ~unlclpal pIer, and excludIng the area bounded by Pico Boulevard to the South CIty lIMIts, neilson Way to Ocean Avenue-Barnard Way, IncluSIve. (2) All streets lYIng wIthin the area bounded by Ocean Avenue, LIncoln , 1 . . Boulevard, California Avenue and Colorado Avenue, including both sides of the boundary streets. (3) All streets lYIng wlthin the area bounded by Wllshlre Boulevard, Olympic Boulevard, Lincoln Boulevard, and the east Clty llmlts, includlng both sldes of the boundary streets. (4) All of Maln Street between Colorado Avenue and Plea Boulevard. (b) Parklng a vehicle in a deslgnated space In Zone nAn shall be lawful for 60 minutes upon the deposIt of 25 cents In coin, and for an addItional 60 mlnut~s for each 25 cents in coin . deposIted thereafter. (c) Parking meters shall be operated In Zone "A" every day between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. SECTION 2. (b) ParkIng a vehicle In a designated space In Zone "B" shall be lawful for 60 mInutes upon the deposIt of 10 cents in COIn, and for an addItIonal 60 mInutes for each 10 cents in COIn depOSIted thereafter. (c) Parking meters may be operated In Zone rB" twenty-four hours per day or less, as · posted by the Parking and Trafflc Engineer. SECTION 3. Any provIsIon of the Santa MonIca MunICIpal Code or appendices thereto inconsIstent wIth the provIsIons of thIS ordInance, to the extent of such lnconsistencies and no further, are hereby repealed or ~odlfled to that extent necessary to affect the provisions of thIS ordinance. SECTION 5. If any section, subsect2on, sentence, clause, or phrase of thIS ordInance IS for any reason held to be InvalId or unconst~tutional by a deC~Slon of any court of any competent jurl~dIctlon, such declslon shall not affect the valIdity of the remaInIng portions of the ordinance. The CIty CounCIl hereby declares that It would have passed thIS ordinance and each and every section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase not declared inval~d or unconstitutIonal wIthout regard to whether any portion of the ordinance would be subsequently declared invalid or unconstitutIonal. SECTION 6. The Mayor shall Sign and the CIty Clerk shall att~st to the passage of thiS ordinance. ThlS City Clerk shall cause the same to be published once ~n the officlal newspaper within 15 days after its adoption. The ordinance shall become effective after 30 days from its adoption. 4 .
