These two d~str~cts were b~d as one proJect and a contract was awarded by CounCil on November 27, 1984. A preliminary est1mate of the total cost of th1S street lighting proJect 15 $380,000 wlth the City'S share of the cost belng $190,000. Recommendation It 1S recommended that the City Council 1. Open the publlC hearing on the convenience and necessity and the Resolution of Intention; 2. Close the publlC hearing and acknowledge any protests; and 3. Currently, $144,500 15 encumbered under Account Nos. 01-770-453-000-902 and 01-770-453-000-903 which were encumbered to pay for the CIty'S estImated share of the proJect. Since the Cl ty wIll pay for the par k and portIons of the 1500 block of Eucl1d, addlt10nal funds 10 the amount of $6,388.38 are required.
