Pursuant to Streets and Hlghways Code Section 5616, thlS letter 15
notlflcation that the Clty Councll, pursuant to Resolutlon No. 6467
adopted on Aprl1 27, 1982, has scheduled a hearing to hear and pass
upon the report of the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of the
sldewalk repal.r, ln connection w1th the above-descrlbed project,
together wlth any Ob]ectlons and protests, if any, which may be
ralsed by any propety owner liable to be assessed for the cost of
such sidewalk repair and any other lnterested persons.

REPAIR OF Dl'.1>lA.GED SIDmJALKS, DRIVEUAYS, CURBS
AND/OR REMOVAL OF OBSTRUCTIONS, PERFORHED UNDER
PROVISIONS OF DIVISION 7, CHAPTER 22, SECTIONS
5600 TO 5630, OF THE STREETS AND HIGHHAYS CODE
OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA (SR-82-27).
Pursuant to the provls1ons of DlvlSlon 7, Chapter 22,
SE c.1.ons 5600 to 5630, of the Streets and H1.ghways Code of the
St te of Cal1.fornl.a, the followlng work was caused to be done by
th_ Street Super1.ntendent:
The removal and replacement of 612.5 square feet
of PC concrete on S1.dewalks at $3.00 per square
foot; and
The removal and replacement of 75 square feet of
PC concrete on s1.dewalks at $4.00 per square foot.
The total cost of the work was $2,137.50.
The total proposed assessment for s1.dewalks 1.5 51,068.75.
or 50 percent of the total cost. The other 50 percent of the cost
lS be1.ng pa1.d by the C1.ty.

Honlca; and

work had not been c08pleted by the owners or persons In possesslon
of the affected propertles, and the Superlntendent of Streets
caused the work to be done; and
HHEREAS, the Superlntenden~ of Streets gave the notlce

HHEREAS, the Superlntendent of Streets dld flle wlth the
