Pursuant to the provlslons of D1Vl.SlOn 7, Chapter 22, SectJ.ons
5600 of 5630, of the Streets and r:ll.ghways Code of the State of
Callfornla, the follow~n3 worK was caused to be done by the Street
Superlotendent:
Tne r~moval and replacement of 865 square feet of PC concrete
on sl.dewalks dt $3 per square footi and
Tne removal and replacement of 1382 square feet of PC concrete
on sldewalks at ~4 per square footi and
Tne removal and replacement of 156 square feet of PC concrete
dr~veway at $5 per square foo t ; and
The removal and replacement of 12 ll.neal feet of PC concrete
curb at $10 per Ilneal foot; and
The removal of 203 11.neal feet of PC concrete curb at $2 per
slluare foot.
The total cost of the abOve 'Nark was $9,599.
The to'C.al proposed assesment for the above sJ.dewalk and curb
damage ~s $4,799.50 or 50 percent of the total cost. The other 50
percent of the cost ~s be~ng pal.d by the Clty as the above repa~rs
were caused by tree root damage.
The removal and replacement of 60 squara feet of sldewalk at
$4 per square footi and
Tne removal and replacement of 77 square feet of PC concrete
dr~vewaY3 at $5 per square foot; and
The r-:illoval and replacement of 14 llneal feet of PC concrete
curbs at $10 per llneal foot.

$765.00 or 100 percent of the total cost as the damage was not related
to tree roots.
