REPAIR OF DAMAGED SIDEWALKS, DRIVE'wAYS, CURBS AND/OR REMOVAL
OF OBSTRUCTIONS, PERFORMED UNDER PROVISIONS OF DIVISION 7,
CHAPTER 22, SECTIONS 5600 TO 5630, OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA tSR-85-59)
Pursuant to tr..e provIsIons of DIVISIon 7. Chapter 22. SectIons
5600 of 5630, of tl': e Streets and HIgtways Code of the State of
CalIfornIa, the followIng work was caused to be done by the Street
SuperIntendent:
The removal and repl ac ement of 60 square feet of PC concrete
on sIdewalks at $3 per square footj and
The removal and replaceme~t of 467.5 square feet of PC
concrete on sldewalks at $4 per square foot; al'ld
The removal and replacement of 35 square feet of PC concrete
drIveways at $4 per squaY'e foot; and
Tte r emov al and replacement of 78 square feet of PC concrete
on drIveways at $5 per square foo t ; and
The removal and replace-nent of 11 lIneal feet of PC concrete
curbs at $10 per lIneal foo t .

I curb and gutter at $12 per 11 n e al foot; and
The removal of 274 lIneal feet of PC concrete parkway at $2
per square foot.
The total cost of tr..e above work was $3,310.00
The total propo sed asses[}'Ient for the above sldewalk and curb
dam ag e IS $1,655.00 or 50 percent of the total cost. The other 50
percent of the cost IS beIng paId by the CIty as the above repaIrs
were caused by tree root damage.

The removal and replacement of 603.5 square feet of sIdewalk
at $4 per square foot.
Tr.e total proposed assessment for sIdewalks and curbs IS
$2,414.00 or 100 percent of tr.e total cost as tr.e damage was not
related to tree roots.
Reference IS made to the attacted sheets for a descrIptIon of
the real property In fr 0 n t of wh 1 C r. the work has been done, the
proposed assessment agaInst each property, and a descrIptIon of the
work done In front of eacr. property.
