SUBJECT: An Ordinance of The City Council of The City of Santa Monica Establishing
Various Parking Meter Zones and Amending The Santa Monica Municipal
Code
Introduction
At its meeting on May 23, 2000, the City Council introduced for first reading an ordinance
establishing various parking meter zones in the City and amending the Municipal Code to
allow parking meter rates to be set by resolution of the City Council. The ordinance is now
presented to the City Council for adoption.
Recommendation
It is respectfully recommended that the accompanying ordinance be adopted.
