Nature Trail for the City of Culver City. Representatives from these projects reported
that the consultants= work was satisfactory.

Recom mendation
Staff recommends that the City Council:
1. Award a construction contract for the Santa Monica Municipal Pool
Replacement Project Phase I - Excavation and Utility Relocation to
Tri Max, the lowest responsible bidder, in the amount of $348,000;
2. Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute a contract with DMR
TEAM, in an amount not to exceed $343,000, for construction management
services for the Santa Monica Municipal Pool Replacement Project - Phase I -
Excavation and Utility Relocation and Phase II - Site Development Packages;
3. Authorize the City Manager to expand the scope of the contract services with
Killefer Flammang Purtill Architects, Contract No. 6772 (CCS), in an amount
not to exceed $130,000, for architectural services related to the development of
the Municipal Pool Project; and
4. Authorize the City Engineer to issue any necessary change orders to complete
additional work within budget authority and in accordance with the
Administrative Instructions on change orders.
