RESOLUTION NO. 516 (RAS)
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING A
REPLACEMENT HOUSING PLAN IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
PROPOSED PROJECT AT1924 & 1930 EUCLID STREET,
1753 18`h STREET AND 1754 19th STREET
Whereas, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Monica ("Agency') will
be considering a loan application from FAME Apartments, LLC ("FAME") to acquire
certain real properties located at 1924 & 1930 Euclid Street and 1753 18`" Street, and
leasehold interest at 1754 19`h Street.
Whereas, prior to entering into a loan agreement for the acquisition and
predevelopment of the properties, the Agency is required to adopt a Replacement
Housing Plan if the proposed redevelopment project will lead to the destruction or
removal of housing units from the low and moderate income housing market.
Whereas, the Replacement Housing Plan, as attached to the Staff Report dated
April 28, 2009, complies with the requirements of Health and Safety Code Section
33413.5.
NOW THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Redevelopment Agency hereby approves the Replacement
Housing Plan, as attached to the Staff Report dated April 28, 2009, pertaining to the
proposed redevelopment project at 1924 & 1930 Euclid Street, 1753 18`t' Street, and
1754 19`h Street.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
