A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DESIGNATING
REPRESENTATIVES TO SIGN OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS FROM
CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES AND
FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY ON BEHALF OF
THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, during declared state and federal disasters, the City of Santa Monica
experiences damage within portions of the City; and
WHEREAS, a state and federal disaster area was declared entitling the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Monica to receive reimbursement as
authorized by the Stafford Act of 1974 (PL 93-288) as administered by the Federal
emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the California Office of Emergency
Services (OES); and
WHEREAS, in order to receive reimbursement for disaster related expenses,
FEMA requires the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Monica to adopt a
resolution designating official representatives of the Redevelopment Agency for
purposes of signing official documents,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Executive Director, Assistant City Manager, Deputy City Manager,
Assistant to the City Manager for Management Services, Assistant to the City Manager
for Community and Government Relations and Director of Housing and Economic
Development are hereby designated as official representatives of the City of Santa
Monica for the purpose of signing City of Santa Monica documents related to
reimbursement by FEMA and OES for disaster related expenses.
SECTION 2. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
