RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS OR HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE A
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY
METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A CAPITAL RESERVE ACCOUNT FOR THE 20th AND CLOVERFIELD AND
BUS STOP AND SHELTERIMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority ("Metro")
has approved the establishment of a Capital Reserve Account for the 20th and
Cloverrield and Bus Stop and Shelter Improvement Projects; and
WHEREAS, Metro conditions the use of said monies in accordance with their policies,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Monica hereby authorizes the City
Manager or his or her designee to execute a Memorandum of .Understanding with
Metro to establish a Capital Reserve Account for the 20th and Clovefield and the Bus
Stop and Shelter Improvement Projects.
SECTION 2. The Public Works/Big Blue Bus Departments shall forward a certified
copy of this Resolution to Metro for processing.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
