RESOLUTION N0. 1434 (CITY COU3VCIL
SERIES}, WHICH RESOLUTION CREATES
VARIOUS CLASSES OF' POSI2'IONS AND
PROVIDES FOR THE RATE OF COMPENSATION
THEREFOR,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONTCA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS„
SECTION 1, Section 11 of Resolution No» 1434
(CCS) hereby is amended to read as follows:
"Section-11; Holidays,
The .following days hereby are declared as
holidays for all personnel in the Transportation Department
and members of the Fire Department an special assignment,
including training, mechanical maintenance and fire prE_
vention: the lst day of Januar
y9 30th day of May, 4th day
of July, lst Monday of September, Thanksgiving Day and the
25th day of December,
The following days hereby are declared as
holidays for all City employees except all sworn personnel
3n the Police Department
Identification Technicians and
Police Clerks (male); all members of the ire

the Transportation Department, the lst day of January,

Whenever any day listed as a'holiday in this
Section falls upon the second day off of any employee,

S~'CTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolutloi2 and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
