A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR
DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF, POLICE CAPTAIN,
POLICE OFFICER -LATERAL TRANSFER, POLICE LIEUTENANT,
POLICE OFFICER, POLICE OFFICER PRE- SERVICE, POLICE SERGEANT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective January 1,
2008, for the indicated permanent classifications:
DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF
POLICE CAPTAIN
POLICE LIEUTENANT
POLICE OFFICER -LATERAL TRANSFER
POLICE OFFICER
POLICE OFFICER -PRE SERVICE
POLICE SERGEANT

$11,030/Month Step 5
$9,681/Month Step 5
$6,707/Month Step 5

$8,916/Month Step 5
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
