JULY 29, 1986
A speclal joint meetlng of the City Councll and the Redevelopment
Agency was called to order by Chairperson Pro Tempore Jennings.

CC/RA-3: DOWNTOWN AND OCEAN PARK REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS:
Presented was a staff report recommending adoption of a
resolutlon authorizing submlsslon of a proposed statement of
eXlstlng obllgations and programs for Redevelopment ProJects
(Downtown and Ocean Park) and authorizing a public hearing.
D1Scussion was held. Member Epstein moved the staff
recommendation, thereby adopting Resolution No. 407(RAS)
entltled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE SANTA MONICA REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY, CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMISSION OF PROPOSED STATEMENTS OF EXISTING OBLIGATIONS AND
STATEMENT OF EXISTING PROGRAMS FOR THE SANTA MONICA REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECTS ADOPTED BEFORE 1977, TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AND THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT; AND AUTHORIZING A PUBLIC HEARING ON SUCH
STATEMENTS," readlng by title only and wal ving further readlng
thereof; and authorizlng the Agency's Executive Director to
establish the date, tlme, and place for a public hearlng on the
Proposed Statements of Existlng Obllgatlons and Programs for such
redevelopment proJects, and to publlSh and mall notices of such
public hearing in the manner requlred and establ~shed by law.
Second by Member Conn. D1Scussion was held. The motion was
approved by the following vote:
Agency vote: Unanimously approved 5-0
Absent: Chairperson Reed, Councilmember H. Katz
ADJOURNMENT: At 7:40 p.m., Member Epsteln moved to adjourn the
Redevelopment Agency meetlng. The motlon was duly seconded and
unan~mously approved.
