RESOLUTION NO. 341
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
ACQUISITION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES IN CONNECTION
WITH THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOP~1ENT PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPHENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA BONICA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Redevelopment Agency hereby
delegates to the Clty of Santa Monlca the followlng powers and
functions of the Redevelopment Agency with respect to the undertaking
of the Downtown Redevelopment ProJect:
The purchase or acquisition by negotlation and/or by
emlnent domain of any and all lnterests ln real property,
as deflned ln Section 33390 of the Health and Safety Code
of the State of Callfornla, located on, ln, under or wlthin
the Downtown Redevelopment ProJect.
SECTION 2.
That the Executive Director or hlS
designee lS hereby authorized to accept the conveyance from the
City of the real property acquired by the City under thlS
Resolution for the implementation of the Downtown Redevelopment
ProJect. Such conveyance shall be pursuant to Sectlon 33220(a)
of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California. The
Executlve Director lS hereby authorized to execute with each such
conveyance (1) a note ln favor of the Clty of Santa Monlca in
the amount of the cost of the acguisltlon of such real property
plus lnterest at the rate of six and one-fourth (6~) percent per
annum calculated from the date of use of City funds and (2) a
Deed of Trust on said property securing the payment of said note.

day of June, 1977.
