RESOLUTION NO. 387 (RAS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA CERTIFYING
THAT IS HAS REVIEWED THE
FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT ON
THE OCEAN PARK BEACH IMPROVEMENTS PLAN
WHEREAS, an In1 t1al Study was prepared on the Ocean Par k
Beach Improvements Plan 1n February 1984j and
WHEREAS, a Not1ce of Preparat10n of an Env1ronmental Impact
Report was 1ssued 1n February 1984j and
WHEREAS, Not~ce of Completion of a Draft Envlronmental
Impact Report was publ1ched 1n June, 1984, 1n compllance with the
Callfornla EnV1ronmental Quallty Act and the Clty of Santa Mon1ca
CEQA GU1del1nes; and
WHEREAS, a publlC reV1ew perlod explred 1n July 1984; and
WHEREAS, 1n August 1984, the completlon of the F1nal
EnV1ronmental Impact Report on the proposed proJect, cons1st1ng
of the Draft Env1ronmental Impact Report, comments on the
document, and responses to comments was cert1fled; and
WHEREAS, on August 14, 1984, the C1ty Councll, as Lead City
Agency, and the Redevelopment Agency, as a Respons1ble Agency

NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SEcrlON 1.
The Redevelopment Agency of the CIty of Santa
Mon1ca does hereby cert1fy that It has rev~ewed and cons1dered
the F1nal EnvIronmental Impact Report on the proposed Ocean Park
Beach Improvements Plan 1n determ1nIng whether to approve the
Ocean Park Beach Improvements Plan.
SECI'ION 2.
The Agency Secretary shall certIfy to the
adoption of th~s Resolut~on, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be In full force and effect.
