SEPTEMBER 30, 1991
A Special Joint Meeting of the Santa Monica City council and city
Boards and Commissions was called to order by Mayor Abdo at 415
Pacific Coast Highway, Santa Monica, California, on Monday
September 30, 1991, at 7:48 P.M. (having been preceded by an
orientation for new Board and Commission members at 5:30 P.M.).

WELCOME FROM MAYOR: Mayor Abdo welcomed the membership on behalf
of the Council to the Joint Meeting.
PRESENTATION BY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: The following
representatives of the Boards and Commissions reported on the
past year activities and corning year priorities: Accessibility

COMMENTS FROM COUNCILMEMBERS. The Councilmembers congratulated
the Board and Commission members on past performance and offered
their support in the coming year priorities. Mayor Abdo
announced that in addition to the annual meeting each year, the
city Manager will also hold quarterly meetings with all Board and
commission Chairs.
