PARKING AUTHORITY MINUTES
COUNCIL CHAMBER, CITY HALL, SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
REGULAR MEETING
7:30 P.M., Tuesday, July 14, 1970
The Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica met in Reg-
ular Session at the above named time and place. The Pledge of
Allegiance was given.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Anthony D1tur1, CIo Hoover, John McCloskey,
Lowell Patton, James B. Reidy
Virgil Kingsley, Herbert Spurgin
MEMBERS ABSENT:
ALSO PRESENT:
Perry Scott, City Manager
B. L. Kennedy, City Engineer
R. G. Cockins. c~ty Attorney
J. J. Wrenn, Parking & Traffic Engineer
Mr. Cockins stated that the records should show that Mrs.
Hoover was appointed by Mayor Spurgin to be cha~rman of this Park1ng
Authority Meeting and of the Council Meeting which 18 to follow, in
lieu of a Mayor pro tern or Clerk pro tern.
Mr. Reidy moved that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting dated
April 14, 1970 be approved as ma11ed. The motion was seconded by
Mr. McCloskey and carried unan1mously.
Mr. Reidy inquired when Structure #5 would be completed and was
informed that the tentative opening date would be August I, 1970.
Upon motion by Mr. Dituri, seconded by Mr. McCloskey and carried
unanimously, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
