PARKING AUTHORITY MINUTES

The Parking Authority of the C~ty of Santa Monica met in
special seSS10n at the above time and place. The pledge of

The Chairman announced the purpose of the meeting was to author-
ize the employment of a resident engineer, on a contract basis, to
supervise the construction of the parking structures 0 The employee
to be h1red is to assume the position formerly held by Mr. Frank
Eckstein, who passed away on September 15.
It was moved by Mr. Spurgin that the proposed contract between
the Park1ng Authority and Mr. Robert Ewart be approved as recom-
mended by the City Engineer. The motion was seconded by Mr. Reidy
and carr1ed by the following roll call vote:

There be1ng no further business to come before this meeting, it
was moved by ~tr. Spurgin, seconded by f1rs. Hoover, that the meeting
