SPECIAL MEETING
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 1981
The Parking Author~ty of the C~ty of Santa Monica met ~n
Spec~al Session at the above named t~me and place.

ALSO PRESENT:
John Jalili, Acting City Manager
Raymond E. Davis III, Parking and Traffic Engineer
Stan School, Director of General Services
Robert M, Myers, City Attorney
Ann Shore, C~ty Clerk
Mr. Jal~l~ presented the Staff Report outl~ning the probless
with parking ~n Lot 18 adJacent to the Ma~n L~brary. Staff
recommended the 5 hour meters be converted to 2 hour meters.
It was moved by Ms. Press and seconded by Mr. Edwards to convert
the 5 hour meters 1n Lot 18 to 2 hour meters.
The Mot~on passed unan1IDously.
MS. Reed requested Staff tc consider convert~ng Lot 6, located
~mmediately north of Str~l;ture 2 on Second Street, from a Perrn~t
Only Lot to a metered park~ng lot,
Ms. Press requested Staff to ~nvest~gate if it 1S poss~ble to
remove the Clty from the off-slte park~ng agreement w~th Santa
Mon~ca Place in Structure 2.
It was moved and seconded to adJourn the Meet~ng.
