Motion by CommissIoner Femstem, seconded by CommIssioner
Greenberg to approve Housmg Authonty Mmutes The motIon was
unanullously approved by VOIce vote, WIth all members present

FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 PROPOSED BUDGET Presented was the
puhhc heanng and the recommendatlOn to approve reVISlOns to the FY
1998-99 proposed budget, approve program adjustment relative to
reallocatlon of $682,680 of CDBG MERL funds, as outlmed m the
staff report, adopt a resolution revlsmg various salary rates and
approvmg hst of reclassificatiOns, adopt a resolutlOn approvIng Cay of
Santa Momca' s budget for FY 1998-99, adopt a resolution approvmg
the HOUSIng Authonty's budget for FY 1998-99, adopt a resolution
approvmg the Redevelopment Agency's budget for FY 1998-99, adopt
a resolutIOn approvIng the Parlong Authonty's budget for FY 1998-99,
and, authonze the CIty Manager to negotiate and execute a contract
With the Santa Momca-Mahbu Umfied School DIstnct for servICes
related to the ImplementatIon of the Childcare, Recreation, Enrichment
and Sports Together (CREST) Program

IO-A PUBLIC HEARING TO APPROVE FY 1998-99 ONE-
YEAR ACTION PLAN FOR HOME INVESTMENT
PARTNERSHIP ACT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS Presented was the pubhc hearIng and the
recommendatIon to approve the 1998-99 One- Year ActIon Plan as
reqUIred by the U S Department of Housing and Urban Development I
to receIve and Implement HOME and CDBG entltlement funds

to the border WIth Venice and complamed about traffic on Santa

adopt ResolutIOn No 73(HAS) entItled A RESOLUTION OF THE
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING ITS BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 The
