M-7/3/1979 CITY OF SANTA MONICA CITY COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS July 3, 1979 An adjourned meeting of the Santa Monica City Councll was called to order ! at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Pieter van den Steenhoven who led the assemblage ln the pledge of allegiance to the United States of Amerlca. Gould, Neil A. Stone, Gerald Goldman William G. Allen and Dolores M. Press. Agenda Item 3: Mayor Pro Tempore Reed moved to add as an ex-agenda Item request of Clty Jl.fanager to hold an executive' session in order that the City Councll may instruct Clty representatives concernlng salaries, salar)' scbedules or compensatlon paid in tbe form of frlnge benefits. Second by Councllmember Yannatta. Council Vote: Unanimously approved 6-0 Absent: Councllmember SWlnk At 7:.:1-2 P.~,I. Mayor Pro Tempore Reed moved to recess to executlve session.
