7:00 P.~. by Mayor van den Steenhoven.

Council Vote: Unanlmously approved 6-0
Absent: Mayor Pro Tempore Reed

~genda Item 2: ConsIderation of wages/fringe benefits for City employees.
:ouncil~ember Scott moved to adopt Resolution ~o. 5345(CC5) entitled:
"A RESOLUTIO~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVI~G Ai
~AGE INCREASE FOR SWORN POLICE PERSONNEL, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1979", fixing I
the wage of the members of the sworn police force at 5-3/4% above the
~resent wage level, to be effective July 1, 1979, reading by title only I
'1nd waivIng further reading thereof. Second by Mayor Pro Tempore Reed.
lhe motIon was approved by the following vote:
Council Vote: AffirmatIve: Councilmembers Bambrick, Jennings, Scot,
Swink, Mayor Pro Tempore Reed and Mayor
van den Steenhoven.
Abstain:
Councilmember Yannatta
~t 8:25 P.M., on motIon of Councilmember Swink, second by Councilmember
Hambrick, the CounCIl adjourned in memory of Miss Mildred D. Gould, a long
Lime reSIdent of Santa Monica.
Council Vote: UnanImously approved 7-0
