A speclal meetlng of the Santa Monica Clty Council was called to order by
~ayor Bambrick at 8:40 A.~I., Friday, August 22, 1980.

Mayor Bambrlck announced that the purpose of the meetlng was to hold an ;
executive seSSlon for dlscussion of personnel matters and to instruct I

paid ln the form of fringe beneflts. At 8:41 A.;,I. Mayor Pro Tempore '
Yannatta Goldwav moved to recess to executive seSSlon for the stated .
purpose. Second by Councllmember Jennlngs. The motlon was approved by
the following vote:
Councll Vote. Unanimously approved 4-0
Absent. Councilmembers Reed, Rhoden and van den Steenhoven
At 8:58 A.~., the Council reconvened with members present as at the roll
call. Mayor Pro Tempore Yannatta GOldway moved to ratlfy the Memorandum
of Understanding between the City and United Transportatlon Union Local
1785 (on behalf of employees occupying the positlon classification of
Motor Coach Operator) dated August 18, 1980 and to a\,'ard Contract Xo.
3548(CCS). Second by Councilmember Jennings. The motion was approved
by the fOllowing vote::
Councll Vote' Unanlmously approved 4-0
Absent: Councilmembers Reed, Rhoden and van den Steenhoven
At 8:59 A.~., Mayor Pro Tempore Yannatta Goldway moved to adJourn on
behalf of Mayor Bambrick, in memory of Hazel H. Holborow, Pearl T.
Howland and Lloyd L. Farnham. Second by Councilmember Jennings. The
motlon was approved by the followlng vote:
Councll Vote. Unanlmously approved 4-0
