Agenda Item 8-A: Presented at this tlme for lntroduction were ordlnances
lmposlng buslness license tax on cooperative apartment proJects. The
public hearlng was opened at 7:10 P.~l. and the fOllowing persons spoke in
favor of cooperatlve apartment projects: Marian Winsdon, Paul Malarik
and Gladys Bell. The public hearing was closed at 7'30 P.M. after which
Councllmember van den Steenhoven moved to lntroduce an ordinance entitled

CHAPTER 6B OF ARTICLE VI, SECTION 6652 OF THE SANTA MO~ICA MUNICIPAL

OX THE DEVELOPME~T A~D COCiiSTRUCTION OF COOPERATIVE APARnIE~T PROJECTS",

Mayor Swink, Joseph ReIchel, a 60 year resIdent of Santa MonIca.
