Absent: Councilmember James P. Conn
The City Manager suggested certain guidelines to facilitate the
departmental presentations as scheduled. The City Council then
received presentations of budgets, objectives and workplan
activities proposed for 1983-84 by the following departments:
Council, City Manager and Data processing, City Clerk, Finance
City Attorney.

The City Council recessed at 12:15 P.M. and reconvened at 12:45
P.M., Councilmember Reed was excused at 12:55 P.M. The following
departments were heard: Personnel, Purchasing, Police, Fire,
Library and Civic Auditorium.
At 4:30 P.M., Council adjourned to June 7, 1983 at 6:00 P.M.
