IA meeting of the Santa Mon1ca City Council was called to order by Mayor
Yannatta Goldway at 10:10 A.M. Saturday, August 8, 1981.

(departed at 11:20 A.M.)

(arrived at 10:47 A.M.)

CITY ~l~NAGER SELECTION: Mayor Yannatta Goldway announced that the meeting,
continued from August 4, 1981, was being held for the purpose of discussing
!the selection of a City Manager. At 10:11 A.M., the Council adjourned to
Closed Session in the City Manager's office for the stated purpose. At
12:00 Noon the Council recessed to 7:00 P.M. The Council reconvened at
7:00 P.M. at Shanta India Restaurant, 502 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Mon~ca.
jAt 9:45 P.M. the meeting was adjourned to 10:00 A.M., Sunday, August 9,
01981.
The Council reconvened at 10:10 A.M., Sunday, August 9, 1981.

After the roll call, Council adjourned to Closed Session in the C~ty
Manager's office for the above-stated purpose. At 12:00 Noon, Council
I recessed to 7:00 P.M. Council reconvened at 7:00 P.M. at the Marquis
'West Restaurant, 3110 Santa Monica Boulevard, Santa Monica, for the
stated purpose. At 9:30 P.M. the meeting was adjourned, no action
having been taken.
