A Joint meetlng of the City Council and Redevelopment Agency was called to
order by Mayor Yannatta Goldway at 9:40 P.M. on Tuesday, August 25, 1981,
! following a meeting of the Redevelopment Agency.
Roll Call:

I 3A: MODIFICATION OF WALKWAY IN OCEAN PARK REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT:
Presented was a staff report recommending award of a contrac.t for modifi-
cation of a walkway in the Ocean Park Redevelopment ProJect. Council-
I member Conn moved to approve Contract No. 3703(CCS) with California
Landscape, Inc., the lowest bldder, to proceed immedlately wlth modifica-
tion of the east-west access route and gate and to approve necessary
contlngency funds. Second by Mayor Yannatta Goldway. Discussion was
held. There being no obJection, Councilmember Conn lncluded in the
motlon the recommendatlon of the City Attorney that the award of bid be
i subject to any necessary approval of the Coastal Commission relating to
the eXlsting accessway permit. The motion was approved by the following
vote:
Council Vote: Unanimously approved 5-0
Absent: Councilmembers Reed and Zane
Mayor Yannatta Goldway moved to direct the Redevelopment Agency Dlrector
to negotiate' with homeowners (Sea Colony) in connectlon wlth the north!
south accessway in regard to utilitarian deslgn, relmbursement to the
City, malntenance responsibilities, etc. Second by Councilmember Conn.
The motlon was approved by the following vote:
Counell Vote' Unanimously approved 5-0
Absent: Councllmembers Reed and Zane.

At 9:52 P.M., Mayor Yannatta Goldway moved to adjourn the meetlng of the
Redevelopment Agency. Second by Councilmember Conn. The motion was
,unanimously approved. Councilmembers reconvened In regular City Council
meeting at 9:52 P.M.
