A regular meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor O'Connor at
6: 15 p.m., on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.

On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 6: 15 p.m., with
CounciJmember Holbrook absent. Mayor Pro Tern Katz led the assemblage
in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Members of the public Joey Fullmer, Pro Se, Joe Natoli and Jerry Rubin
spoke in support of various City-funded programs.
