A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Genser 6: 17
p.m., on Tuesday, May 31, 2000, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.

RECESS
On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 6: 17 p.m., with
Councilmember Holbrook absent. Councilmember Bloom led the
assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Session Presentations:
There being no one present for public comment, respective Department
Heads presented the budgets for their respective departments as follows.
Planning and Community Development
Community and Cultural Services
Police Department
Resource Management
On order of the Mayor, the special City Council meeting recessed at 11:05
p.m., and reconvened on Thursday, June 1, 2000, at 7:00 p.m., to continue
with the following budget presentations:
Transportation Department
Environmental & Public Works Management
Non-Departmental
