A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Feinstein at
6:15 p.m., on Wednesday, May 29,2002, at City Council Chambers, 1685 Main Street.

CONVENEIPLEDGE
On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 6: 15 p.m., with all members present.
Councilmember Katz led the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance.

2002 - 2003 Budget Study
Session Presentations:
Member of the public Rob Rader addressed various budget proposals.
The City Manager and staff presented a fiscal review of the following:
Library
Community and Cultural Senrices
Big Blue Bus
Environmental and Public Works Management
Resource Management
Planning and Community Development
Fire Department

of use of one-time funds.
On order of the Mayor, the information was received and filed.
PUBLIC INPUT:
Member of the public Art Casillas discussed various Santa Monica Police Department issues.
