A Special meeting of the Santa Monica city Council was called to
order by Mayor Pro Tempore Herbert Katz in the Council Chambers
at 6:25 p.m., on Tuesday, May 31, 1988.

1988-89 CITY BUDGET STUDY SESSION: Presented was an overview
with revenue projections for the 1988-89 budget with
presentations and discussion of budget proposals by the following
departments: City Council, City Manager, city Clerk, city
Attorney, Finance, Information Systems, Personnel, Community and
Economic Development, POlice, and Fire.
ADJOURNMENT: At 11:10 p.m., the meeting was adjourned in memory
of Evelyn Turner and Norm Apsis.
