A meeting of the Santa Monica city Council was called to order by
Mayor Conn at 6:10 P.M., on Tuesday, May 19, 1987, in the Council
Chambers.

Absent: Councilmember David Finkel

Acting city Clerk Donna R. Betancourt
1987-88 CITY BUDGET STUDY SESSION: Presented was an overview
with revenue projections for the 1987-88 budget and presentations
of budget proposals by the following departments: City Council,
City Manager, City Clerk, city Attorney, Finance, Information
Systems, Personnel, Library, Community and Economic Development,
POlice, Fire, and the Recreation and Parks division of Cultural
Arts & Recreation Services.
ADJOURNMENT: At 11: 00 P. M., the meeting was adj ourned to 6: 00
P.M., Wednesday, May 20, 1986, to receive the remaining 1987-88
budget presentations from the Arts commission and Civic
Auditorium divisions of Cultural Arts and Recreation Services,
Airport, Municipal Bus Lines, General Services, Non-Departmental,
and capital Improvements.
