1986-87 BUDGET STUDY SESSION: Presentations we~e gIven and
diSCUSSIon was held in regard to 1986-87 budget proposals by the
following: Arts CommIssion, AI~port, MunIcipal Bus Lines,
General Se~vIces, Non-Departmental, and Capital Improvements.
.~,~~~~p SESSION: Presented was a request for Closed Session for
the purpose of co~siderlng personnel matters and threatened
litigatIon, pendi~g lItIgatIon and lItigation to be commenced by
the CIty. At 10:17 P.M., Councllmember EpsteIn moved to adJourn
to Closed Session to consIder the following pendIng case:
Colorado Place, Ltd. v. CIty of Santa Monica, Santa MonIca
Superior Cou~ t Ca se No. 100185. The mot Ion was seconded and
u~anImously approved. Cou~cll ....econvened at 11: 00 P.M., with
Cou~cllmembe~ EpsteIn abse~t. It was moved and seconded to
approve pendIng 11 tigation agreement with Colorado Place, Ltd.
a~d Southmark PacIfIc Corp. (WhICh relates to Contract No.
3719(CC3) WIth Colorado Place, Ltd.) The motIon was approved by
the folloWl~g vote:

Absent: Councllmember EpsteIn
ADJOURNMENT: At 11: 02 P. M. , It was moved, seconded, and
unanImously approved to adJourn.
