MINUTES OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA

The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Monica, California, met in
regular session in the City Council Chamber on February 25, 1975 at 4:00 p.m.
PRESENT:

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mr. Trives moved, seconded by Mrs. Swink, that the minutes of February 11, 1975
be approved as mailed with the following corrections:
Under the roll call vote at bottom of first page: add "van den Steenhoven"
to the aye votes. Under the roll call vote at the top of the second page:
add "van den Steenhoven" to the aye votes and change "None" to "Ls\'1son" at
"Absent: Members:"
The motion carried with a unanimous voice vote.
PROJECT ACTIONS AND REPORTS:
Ocean Park Project:
A report was given by Mr. Jalil i on the tax allocation bond call. Discussion
followed. Mr. Trives moved, seconded by Mr. Judso~ to direct Staff to proceed
to issue a call for outstanding first series Ocean Park Tax Allocation Bonds
and request the City Council to transfer City Reserve Funds to the Agency
account for a period not to exceed 90 days. The motion carried with the follow-
ing rol I call vote:

ABSENT: MEMBERS: van den Steenhoven
Mr. Will iams noted that Mr. Jacobs had requested an executive session to discuss
close out procedures for the settlement of the exemption lawsuit. The motion
to adjourn to executive sessJon was made by Mrs. SWink and seconded by Mr.
Lawson and carried by the following roll call vote:

The meeting adjourned to executive session at 4 15 p.m.
The meeting reconvened at 4.32 p.m. Mr. Trives moved, seconded by Mrs. SWink,
to authorize the Agency's legal counsel to execute the stipulation for entry
of dismissal of Case No. WEC-32042, City of Santa Monica versus California
Coastal Zone Conservation Commission, filed In the Superior Court of the
State of Cal ifornia and the County of Los Angeles, to authorize Staff to pay
the $101.90 cost bill for Case No. C-60855 in the 2nd Appellate Court, to
authorize Staff to file for a permit from the Coastal Commission for construc-
tion of 100 units of senior citizen housing; and to reatflrm authorization
given Agency's legal counsel in the February 11, 1975 Agency meeting to
carry out agreements made in the Agreement approved by the Agency and signed
by the Executive Director. The motion carried with the follOWing rol I call
vote:

There being no further business, Mrs. Hoover suggested a motion to adjourn.
Mrs. Swink so moved, seconded by Mr. Lawson. The motion carried With a
unanimous vOice vote. The meeting was adjourned at 4:40 p.m.
