The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Monica, California, met in spe-
cial session in the City Council Chamber on March 29, 1977 at 1:30 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the February 28, 1977 and March 16, 1977 meetings were approved
unanimously by voice vote following a motion made by Mr. McCloskey and seconded
by Mrs. Reed
PROJECT ACTIONS AND REPORTS
Ocean Park Project. Application for Additional Federal Capital Grant
Mr. Williams requested John Herner to outl ine the proposal from HUD. Mr. Herner
explained that the resolution is to authorize staff to submit an application
to HUD for S800,000 to reduce the outstanding project notes, and assure HUD
the Agency will provide a matching $800,000 in time for the rollover at the
end of June. Discussion ensued.
Mr. Cohen moved for adoption of the resolution and that further reading be
waived The motion was seconded by Mrs. Swink and passed by unanimous roll
call vote as follows:

ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made by Mr. McCloskey, seconded by Mr. Swink and carried
by unanimous voice vote. The meeting was adjourned at 1:45 p.m. by Chairman
Trives.
