Grace Thomas, Executive Director-Secretary May Palfrey, Stenographer APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The Chairman recommended that a correction be made on Page 3 of the minutes of Febru- ary 27, 1968, under "ABSENT", changing the word "None" to "Barnard". Minutes - 3/26/68 Page Two REPORT OF SECRETARY: Project 1 (a): Approval of Amendatory Application for Loan and Grant The Secretary informed the Members that the Agency had received from HUD a notification of the approval of the Part I - Amendatory Application for loan and Grant for Project l(a). She added that the funds approved represented an Increase in the total Federal Capital Grant and the approval of the cost of Barnard Way. which was submitted as a Non-Cash Local Grant-In~id. Project I(a): Report to City Counc I ,I The Secretary stated that at the City Council meeting of February 27. 1968, Mr. Reidy, Agency liaison Member, had reported to the City Council on the Agency's purchase of a portion of its Tax Allocation Bonds and on the Relocation Report for Project I(a}. and that the Council had expressed their commendation to the Agency Members and staff for their efforts in these matters. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Report on National Housing Conference The Secretary submitted a written report to the Members on the National Housing Conference held in Washington. D.C. Mr. Richey, who also attended the m~~tlng along with the Chairman and the Secretary. stated that the speeches at the Conference conveyed the emphasis the Government Is placing on the construction of low-cost housing. NEW BUS I NESS: Travel Allowance The Secretary recommended that the Members authorize four trips to San Francisco and the HUD Regional Office for the period 1/1/68 through 6/30/68. Mr. Fach moved. seconded by Mr. Richey. that four trips to San Francisco and the HUD Regional Office be authorized for the period 1/1/68 through 6/30/68. The motion carrIed with the following roll call vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Schimmer. Fach, Harding. Richey.
