A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF rHE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING TH~ riME AND PLACE OF THE REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE AGENCY AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 319 (R.A.S.) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: I. That the Regular Meettngs of the Redevelop~ent Agency be held in the Council Chambers of the City of Santa Monica on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 4:00 P.M. 2. That Resolution No. 319 (R.A.S.), adopted August 28, 1973, is hereby rescinded. ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 28th DAY OF MAY, 1974. Hoover NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: van den Steenhoven 4-A The public hearing was opened upon the appeal of Diversified Pacific Properties against the denial of its request by the Planning Commission to approve tentative tract map 32296 (23-unit apartment building conversion to condominiums at 1255 - 10th Street). Attorney Ronald Leibow and John Sain requested that the appeal be granted. Maynard Ostrow spoke in opposition. As no one else wished to be heard, Mr. Trives moved to close the hearing. , The motion was seconded by Mrs. Swink and carried unanimously. Mr. Trives moved to overrule the denial by the Planning Commission provided the requirements of the Planning, Building and Fire Departments were met. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Hoover and carried unanimously. EXTRA-~ The Administration was requested to submit for the Council's consideration an ordinance requiring all single-family residences and apartment buildings, upon a change in ownership, to have smoke detectors installed or a report against the feasibility of their installation. The Administration was also requested to have reports from the Fire and Building Departments available for the Council's perusal at future condominium hearings. 5-A The Clerk read the title to a resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION ,OF THE CITY COu~CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MO~ICA AUTHORIZIKG THE REPAIR OF THE SANTA MONICA LIFEGUARD BOAT RESCUE I AND WAIVIKG CALL FOR FORMAL BIDS". Reverend Judson moved to waive further reading, adopt the resolution and appropriate $3,600.00 from }~R Fund Unappropriated Surplus to Account 8523-314. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lawson and carried by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen: NOES: Councilmen: ABSENT: Councilmen: (Ammarine Boat Repair. Inc.) Judson, Lawson, McCloskey, Swink, Trives, Hoover None van den Steenhoven Resolution No. 4468 (CCS) V5-B The Clerk read the title to an ordinance entitled: "AN , ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COL~CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA HO~ICA DECLARING ITSELF TO BE THE REDEVELOPMENT AGE~CY OF THE CITY OF SA~TA MONICA, VESTING ITSELF WITH ALL RIGHTS, POWERS, DUTIES, PRIVILEGES A~D IMML~ITIES HERETOFORE VESTED IN THE AGENCY, &~D DIVESTING THE PREDECESSOR REDEVELOPM~T AGEXCY OF ALL RIGHTS, POWERS, DUTIES, PRIVILEGES AND llNUNITIES HERETOFORE VESTED IN IT", which had first reading February 13, 1974. Mr. Trives moved to waive further reading and adopt the ordinance.
