Presented was a staff report recommendIng holding a publIC
hearuig; approval of resolutlOr:., lease and payment agreements;
approprIatIon of transfer authorItIes; and legal actions as
necessary to effectuate the :"er:ovatIOTi of housing at 175 Ocean
Park Boulevard, property oWTied by the ParkIng AuthOi'l ty.
Dlscussior. was held. The publlC hearIng was declared open at 8:07
p.m. There beIng no ore WIshIng to speak to the matter,
Councllmember Epstel!i moved to close the publIC hearIng at 8:07
p.m. Second by Counc Ilmember Conn. The mot lOr, was approved by
unarnmous vote.
On behalf of the Parkl YJg Authorl ty, Member JennIngs moved to
adopt Resolution No. 176 (PAS) entItled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE
PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING A LEASE
ASGREEMENT BY AND BET\.o[EEN THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE
DOCUHENT ,II readl~g by title only and waIvHlg fUl"lthel" reading
thereof, related to the hOUSing project at 175 Ocean Park
Boulevard, amended In Paragraph 41 of the lease to speCIfy the
same mix of tenants as is speCified in the the staff report.
Second by Member EpsteIn. The motIon was approved by the
