SPECIAL MEETING
4:50 P.M., Thursday, March 19, 1970
The Parking Authority of the city of Santa Monica met ~n
Special Session at the above-named time and place. The Pledge of
Alleg1ance was given.
MEi~ERS PRESENT: Anthony Dituri, James Reidy, Kenneth wamsley,
Herbert Spurgin
MEMBERS ABSENT: CIo Hoover, Virgil Kingsley, John McCloskey
ALSO PRESENT:
Perry Scott, City aanager
B. L. Kennedy, C~ty Engineer
Robert Cockins, City Attorney
James J. ~renn, Park1ng & Traffic Engineer
The Not1ce of the Special Meet~ng was served by mail on
March 16, 1970, and the or~ginal Affidav1t 15 on file with the
Executive Secretary.
Mr. Reidy moved that the Executive Secretary be authorized
and directed to purchase the Rodriguez property at the direct
purchase price of $125,000 in lieu of em~nent doma1n litigation
and in 11eu of the proposed exchange. The motion was seconded
by Mr. D~turi and carried by the following vote:

Members: Dituri, Re1dy, Wamsley, Spurgin
NOES:
Members: None
ABSENT:
Members: Hoover, Kingsley, McCloskey
Upon motlon by Mr. Reidy, seconded by Mr. Diturl and carried
unanimously, the meeting was adJourned at 4:57 P.M.
