ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING

The Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica met in
adJourned regular session at the above named t1me and olace.

The minutes of the meet1ng of April 16, 1968 were approved
as presented.
Upon motion by Mr. Re1dy who read the t1tle of Resolution
No. 126 (PAS) - "A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY TO
EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN TIm CITY OF SANTA MONICA,
THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AND THE
fvILSfIIRE WEST COi'-1PANY", it was seconded by Mrs. Hoover and
carr~ed by the following vote:

NOES:
Uembers: None
ABSENT:
Members: Sorensen, Wamsley
Mr. Re1dy requested clar1f1cat1on on the monthly park~ng
rate d~fferential between Parking Author1ty lots located on
Ne~lson Way versus pr1vate facil~t1es 1n the area. Follow1ng
a d1Scuss1on 1t was deC1ded that this matter be brought up
at the t1me of the Budget Hearings when an overall rate policy
governing all Parking Author1ty lots would be d1scussed.
Iir. Corey made a mot~on that the matter of 1ssuing special
parking stickers to exempt members of the C1ty Counc1l and
C1ty Adm1n1stration from parking restrict10ns wh1le on official
C1ty bus1ness be brought before the C1ty Council for approval.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Reidy and carr~ed w1th Mrs. Hoover
vot1ng NO.
At 7:45 P.M. Mr. Corey moved to adJourn until 7:00 P.M.,
Tuesday, May 14, 1958 in the Councll Chamber of the City Hall.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Reidy and carr1ed unan~roously.
