PARKING AUTHORITY MINUTES
COUNCIL CHAMBER, CITY HALL, SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
February 27, 1968 7:15 P.M.
The Parking Authority of the City of Santa Monica met in
special session at the above named t~me and place. The Pledge
of Allegiance was given.

Kenneth B. Wamsley, Vice Chairman, Anthony
Dituri, Royal Sorensen, CIa Hoover.
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Herbert Spurg~n, Wendell Corey, James Reidy
ALSO PRESENT:
Perry Scott, City Manager
Robert Cockins, C~ty Attorney
Bartlett Kennedy, City Eng~neer
Frank Gaudio, City Controller
Joseph Nadon, Parking & Traffic Engineer
It was announced that the date and t~roe of the special
meeting of the Parking Authority was delivered to all members
on February 16, 1968 and that an affidavit to that effect is
on f~le in the office of the Parking and Traffic Engineer.
The Vice-Chairman introduced the only item on the agenda,
an offer to sell to the Authority lots O,P,Q and R, Block 122,
Town of Santa Mon~ca Tract. (Proposed site of Parking Strpcture
No 0 6).
Mr. Scott reported that the proposed purchase prics was ~n
excess of appraised valuation, and recommended that the offer
be rejected. It was moved by Mr. Dituri that the Manager's
recommendat~on be accepted and that the City Attorney be instruc-
ted to 1nforrn the present owners of the Author~ty's rejection
of their offer. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Hoover and
carr1ed by the follow~ng roll call vote:

There being no further business to come before the Authority,
the Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 P.M.
