A regular, adjourned meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called
to order at 4:13 P.M. by Mayor Pro Tempore Cohen.

At 4'13 P.~. Councilmember Trives moved to recess to a personnel session
to discuss selection of a Clty ~anager. Second by Councilmember Reed.
Councll Vote: Unanimously approved 6-0
Absent: Mavor S,nnk
!>layor Sliink arrived shortly after the Council recessed to personnel session.
The Council reconvened at 7.32 P.M. with all members present. Mayor Pro
Tempore Cohen announced that the selectlon of a City Manager had been
dlscussed and no actlon had been taken. Councilmember Reed moved to
contlnue the meetlng to 4'00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 13, 1978 for
the purpose of contlnuing the personnel deliberation with regard to
hlrlng a ne', City !>Ianager. Second by Councllmember Trlves.
